Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a super rare and collectible 1970 CT90 Suitcase Model built by S+K Air Sea Cycles in Santa Monica, California. Super low 668 original miles. These motorcycles were designed to be transported on airplanes and boats. S+K designed and manufactured hundreds of parts to transform these Honda CT90's and others. There aren't to many of these around and this would be a nice prize piece for a CT90 collector. Bike breaks down in 5 minutes and has many quick release points including a quick release rear hub and folding brake pedal. The bike is in good condition but not a museum piece. It has a new big bore 104cc kit from Beatrice Cycles, new clutch, new tires and new battery. The bike runs and shifts smoothly. High and low gear ranges are perfectly functional. The bike has some minor flaws, but those parts are inexpensive and easily replaceable. There is some minor surface rust in hard to reach areas. The lights are not working right now but I will probably have them fixed by end of auction. The battery cover is scratched and the headlight bucket is cracked. There might be one or two other things I did not notice since the bike is over 40 years old. The bike comes with a transferable NY registration. NY did not use titles until 1973. The registration is transferable to title in any state. You can check out the bike in a 1970 Popular Mechanics article if you Google S+K suitcase cycle. I will break down and ship for an estimated $250.00 or you can pick up or ship whole by a carrier of your choosing. The bike is over 40 years old and being auctioned off as is. I have done my best to describe and show this bike. Any questions do not be afraid to ask.
