1970 Nova ss396 code 10/10 white with black std interior. Car is modified to but could be returned to stock if buyer desired.mods include but not limited to,(interior) chrome moly tig welded cage certified to 8.99 et,front racing buckets,gauges,shifter.(rest is all stock including ss steering wheel,door panels,rear seat,instrument panel,console,carpet etcExterior mods include but not limited to.4" harwood fiberglass hinged hood that uses stock hood latch,weld 5 star wheels (15x8 rear 15x3.5 front)hood pins and gauges on cowl every thing else is stock.Trunk has trunk mat with original style spatter paint and 10 gallon fuel cell,one 10 lb nos tank and battery.Under car (chassis) is original and does not have one speck of rust EVER it does have caltrac traction bars on multi leaf springs and hal 10 way adjustable shocks on all 4 corners,also has 2 fuel systems with associated braided lines.other than that suspension is all stock with updated poly bushings,sub frame mounts and complete front end (All new done with moog parts)exhaust is comprised of hooker super comp 2-1/4 primaries with 4"collectors and exhaust is 4" with x pipe flowmaster 2 chamber race mufflers and over the axle 3-1/2 tail pipes that exit in stock location.Rear axle is stock 12 bolt that has mark williams spool,moser axles with bearing retained axles and mark williams chrome moly pinion yoke with 3.73 gears.Car has complete factory braking system but has been upgraded to dot 4 fluid and all original components were restored.Under hood has stock fender wells and radiator support as well as cowl and heater box which heat works.has a be cool 4 row aluminum radiator,accusump oil accumulator which is electronicly controled to pre lube engine when key is turned on.Engine is a 540"bowtie block with 4.500 bore,callies stealth 4.25 crank,oliver parabolic billet rods (6.385 length),je pistons with moly rings compression is 12.4 to 1,cam is comp solid roller 800 in/850 ex with comp solid roller lifters,smith bros one piece pushrods,complete jesel shaft mount rockers 1.8 ratio,Heads are dart pro 1 345 ported by lukovich racing and flow an honest 385 on intake,valves are manley 11/32 undercut severe duty,springs are manley 1.625" h11 tool steel,has titanium retainers and rotators,intake is a dart open plenum that was also ported by lukovich and uses an 4150 flange adapted to a 4500 flange for beter low end torque,carb is a demon 1195 cfm with adjustable venturis and boosters,has a msd billet slip collar distributor ,jesel belt drive,long edelbrock alum water pump,moroso vacuum pump,arp fasteners were used through out and all stock pullies and brackets were used so no belt throwing issues.also has fluidamper balancer and csi billet starter.Transmission is a modified th 400 using a 1970 cadillac case to hold more clutches on each gear set, bellhousing is a J&W ultra bell,has vasco jet input shaft,hardened intermediate shaft,center support is now a bearing and not a failure prone thrust washer,has kevlar clutches,griner trans brake,ati stall converter,BLAH BLAH BLAH its like ragu spaghetti sauce "its in there" Faults with car are as follows both doors have small rust bubbles on lower corners on fender has same,paint was done in early 80's with centari enamel it presents it self very well but is not base coat/clear,trunk channel that holds weather strip has rust bubbles in it (minimal).Bumpers,bezels, handles ,grille, headlight bezels are excellent, staineless around windows could use polishing to be 100%.Other than that car is very tight every thing works and is a very strong performer. Car runs 9.50 @ 142 on motor @ 3605#s and 9.11 @ 152 on 200 shot of n20.Engine produced 1027 hp on engine dyno and 866 hp on chassis dyno which sheets will be furnished upon purchase along with 18 years of receipts, that i have accumulated. Car can be street driven the way it is with a rear tire change i did it all the time,this car is no joke so let the pics speak for themselves Car is for sale locally and i reserve the right to end auction early due to this.Please note this is a binding contract that you are entering to purchase a car from a seller that is honest and has tried to be as descriptive as possible so don't waste my time.i also have a ton of parts for this car including but not limited to factory nova bucket seats (really),set of gm doors that are media blasted and are PERFECT,a fender that is gm and is media blasted and is PERFECT,mint black dash pad (gm),Factory bucket seat belts,factory gm/harrison 4 core radiator etc etc etc which you could purchase seperately in another auction.Car can be picked up locally in nh or delivered for a fee, Good luck and bid to win you wont be sorry!Almost forgot the car had a "mini frame off a few years ago. Subframe removed,blasted,painted gm chassis black,new poly bushings on control arms,new stainless brake lines by inline tube,factory calipers rebuilt,plated,backing plates restored,all inner/outer tie rods and center link are plated and new,pitman arm&idler arm are plated and new,steering box is rebuilt with new bearings and seals and is plated,fire wall was stripped down and painted gm chassis black ETC,ETC,ETC. Also for you restoration guys the car came from the factory with a rear sway bar and i have it bottom spring plates,end links and bar. Car also has factory heater core for big block in it as well as factory big block engine frame mounts(they are different from small block)
