The milage stated reflects miles since new. The milage since the rebuild is less than 2000. The first 1000 was all highway and used to prperly break in rebuilt motor. This is my second 1968 GTX convertable. Two years after selling the one I owned from 1980-2004, I missed it so much I bought this one in 2005. The seats, door panels, and visers are original. The top, boot &cover, carpet, and trunk mat are new. This car is quick and fun to drive. It is also a real head turner. It has the 440 cubic inch motor and is not numbers matching but it is the correct year. The pictures will speak for the car and if you have questions please ask. A California custom car cover is also included as well as new reflector tape for trunk plate. I will gladley have this applied for new owner. Though Virginia does not require vehicle safety inspections on antique cars, I had this one inspected anyway and it passed easily. The mechanic that inspected it had won Best Restoration at a Budweiser World of Wheels show and commented that this was the best restoration he had seen, his included. The reserve price is very low and reachable. Spring is coming. First I want any interested buyers to know the correct VIN is RS27L8G174262. Next I spent over 2 Hrs. in a chat with an agent of Ebay who assured me there is no violation of their rules, as I have added, now 2 revisions with the correct number. Lastly the "search vehicle history" feature would not work anyway as this is not a 17 character VIN, my bank was not even able to locate any information on the vehicle with their resources when I called them earlier today. I bank with the worlds largest credit union you would think they could search this vehicle, Not. Prior to posting this latest revision there were close to 600 hits on this page and lots of interested members watching this auction. With careful consideration I have opted to allow the auction to continue and sell my car to someone in just over 5 days. It was an honest mistake and it does not, in any way I can find, effect the integrity of any deal to be made. So if you want this to be your car BID.
