Vehicle Detail

Hi - thanks for reviewing my listing! I am selling my 1997 Pontiac Grand Am. It currently has 60,000 original miles. It's a little beat up looking, but runs good. I drive it about 70 miles a day to and from work and have had no issues. I change the oil every 3,000 miles. I bought it having 30,000 miles and haven't had any issues other than having to buy two new tires, and new brakes. The front brakes were just done a couple months ago. As you will see in the photos, it's hardly in "mint" condition, but it's not too bad. The passenger side speaker was glued on when I bought the car and it recently fell off. Also, the driver side mirror adjustment knob sticks out from the drivers side door panel (also in the picture). The driver side of the car has a little rust. There are also some minor dents/scratches around the car. I guess the person I bought it from was a little clumsy. :-) The trunk needs to be opened with the key because the knob to open it on the inside of the car is broke. The heat/AC work fine and there is a radio w/single CD player - both work. The windows open and close slowly (mostly the rear windows). I don't know of any other issues. It's been running great - even got me through the recent blizzard we had here. I also recently drove it to Indiana with no problems. I also only have one key for it. I had another one, but it appears I misplaced it. The inside is pretty clean, but there are some stains on the carpet - like I said, it's not a "mint" car. :-) Also, the history report notes an accident, but it must have been from a long time ago because I didn't know anything about it. I bought the car from woman who had to put her mom in a nursing home - it was the mom's car so it wasn't driven too much. I think she bought the car with 14K miles and then when I bought it, it only had 30K miles. I cannot explain the 101,000 miles on the history report. It goes to 101,000 prior to 2005, and then in 2005, there is a reading of 14,000. Maybe the 101,000 was a typo? The "Odometer" checks out on the report so I think it's ok. Just wanted to mention this. CARFAX does NOT report 101,000 miles. I just checked. I'm selling the car because it is old and I just want a newer more luxury car. There is no reserve and the buyer is responsible for any taxes, title, plate fees, etc. I will accept cash or a certified check or money order from a local bank only! Cash preferred. Car is being sold as-is. Due to the age of the car, there is no warranty. Payment due within 5 days of auction. Pick-up only.
