My son is selling his 1937 Ford pickup for a down payment on his first house. I bought this for him when he was about 9 years old. It was pretty much all there when he got the truck. He worked on it pretty steady for about 4 or 5 years, then came Mustangs and Broncos, so it has been sitting in the barn since then. He has just now put the rest of it together so he can sell it. Most of the body work has been done on the cab, he had to replace 1 door and put in new rockers. The rest of the sheetmetal will need to be finished. He sandblasted, repaired and painted the frame and axels, it might still clean up but I think it will need repainted again. I bought him a '37 21 stud V-8 from a good friend that had told me it was a recent rebuild with low miles. The engine was very clean when I got it and I finally got to hear it run last week. Anyway by the way it runs I believe him, she runs real smooth, doesn't smoke and Idles with 25 pounds oil pressure. Also he had a New core put in the Radiator so it will run nice and cool. He has driven it around the field slowly ( no brakes) the rear axel sounds good and the trans seems to shift ok. There is a whole pile of new parts going with this truck, mostly parts he has gotten for Christmas and Birthdays. New Glass and rubber for the windshield, New wiring harness with plugwires for engine. New front panel for the bed, also lower panels for the bed sides. New door glass window chanels. New inside window and door handles. New radiator and cowl lacing. New taillight with bracket. New Hood side emblems. Then there's a whole pile of used parts that go with the truck I'm not going to list all that, you can see the pictures. Also, the truck does have a Clear Kansas title. Well I guess thats about it, this little pickup will make someone a very good and fairly easy project to finish. There is a whole bunch of pictures here too many to put on the listing so just ask and we will send them to you. Selling as is condition . All sales final. We are asking for a $500. deposit to be made by 48 hours after the end of the auction. paypal ok for deposit but we ask for cash or money order for the remainder. We can store the truck (out side) until shipping arrangements can be made. New parts will be kept inside. Thanks for looking!
