1980 Porsche 911SC Up for auction this great running 911SC Targa, VIN# 91A0141451...this car is a true 3.0l “SC”. This 911 is in great shape and it’s handling is tight and responsive... as a Porsche should be. The body is very nice, the paint is in overall good condition. While not concourse this car is a great looking driver quality car/ -Exterior- The body is in good condition, but does have some very minor imperfections here and there (mainly a couple tiny rock chips) and a small spot where the paint is beginning to bubble near the by the Porsche crest on the hood (about the size of a penny) . Otherwise this car is rust free including the trunk, battery tray and floors. The car is further complimented by the original Fuch rims which have absolutely no curb rash. All the glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazing. Tires are practically brand new, with approximately 95+% of the tread remaining. Everything in the car works as it should including the power windows. -Interior- The interior is in very good shape, including the seats, carpets and door panels, there is practicly no wear. The dash is in mint condition with no cracks or imperfections. The rear seats are in like new condition as if they were never been used. The original Blaupunkt radio is in great working condition. -Engine & Transmission- The engine is the benefiiciary of an extensive $6,000+ rebuild less than 5k miles ago where everything all internal components were replaced including the pistons, rings, gaskets, bearings and everything in between. The powerplant is perfectly tuned, runs strong, starts up on the first try each and every time and burns absolutely no oil. It runs and idles as it should, with no problems. It is a great running little Porsche, always well maintained. The engine is completely dry and there are no leaks anywhere, even after sitting in the garage for a couple of weeks the garage floor is spotless. The transmission shifts seamlessly through the gears with no slipping. There are no strange noises or vibrations from the engine or drive train, all you hear is the music of the flat six. The ride in this 911 is great, there are no squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises, the car drives straight and true...there is nothing indicating this car is over 30 years old! I do not see any indication of the car ever being in an accident however there are a couple of very minor rock chips on the hood (nothing major, simply regular wear and tear). The car is free on any liens is ready for a new home and I have a clean title in hand. -Pricing- The value of this car is increasing from day to day….. In these hard economic times, when the price of stocks is so volatile, investing in the right classic car is the best and safest thing to do with your money!!!!
