Up for austion today is a 1985 Chevy S-10 extended cab four wheel drive pickup. This little truck is equiped with a strong running 2.8 V-6 engine and a four speed manual transmission which shifts out great. As you can see in the photos, the truck is a fairly straight little truck with the exception of a busted spot on the side of the grill and a bent up front bumper. The brown looking spots on the lower areas you see is some rust areas. The hood does have some clear flakeing. The interior is okay for a truck of this age but is a little rough. The tires on the truck are decent and should still run for quite some time. The underneath is really dry except for a little moisture around the pan. Very good for a truck of its age. I just recently bought this truck off a freind of mine. His dad had passed away and he got this truck and didnt need it. His dad drove the truck all the time till he got sick and the truck has been setting since then. Upon getting it I checked out everything I could think of. The engine runs really good and the oil is as clean as any I have seen. NO smoke, knocks, or pecks. The trans shifts out great. Upon checking some of the smaller things I did find that though everything for the a/c is still there and hooked up, it does not blow cold air. The only other thing I found was I beleive the wiper motor needs replacing as they do not currently work. This is a good, strong running little truck but is far from being a creampuff. If you are looking for a really nice, hey everyone look at me kinda truck, dont bid. If you are looking for a good, dependable little truck to drive or use on the farm, you cant go wrong here. The truck does not have current plates or insurance on it, so if you plan to drive it home you will need to make arrangements before pickup. Some of which are in the description and photos. Yes, there is some minor rust across the bottom. Yes, it has signs of previous paint work. Yes, it could use a tune up. No, the milage stated is not the actual miles. No, not everything on the truck works as new. Remember please, this is a 26 year old truck that has been sitting for about three years and has not been restored. It will make a good dependable little truck for driving, hunting, fishing, farming and such. Just want everyone to be clear on what your bidding on.
