1965 Mustang Facts This is a 1965 Mustang. It currently has a straight V6 200ci engine (not the original) and has a 3-speed transmission. The interior has white buckets and white back seat and black carpet and a black headliner. The Good: The body is very straight The interior is fairly clean and the seats are in really good shape with no tears. The engine starts right up and runs good. The transmission shifts pretty smoothly and doesn’t slip. New master cylinder. It’s a V6 so it’s pretty good on gas. With a basic tune-up it could be a daily driver. The car has a clean title and registration was just paid through 2011. The Bad: The paint is old and has chips, so it will need a paint job. There is a small oil leak, but it’s nothing too bad, I would suggest a new valve cover and oil pan gasket. The dash lights don’t work. They did work up until recently.
