THE HISTORY The VW Beetle GLS has only 58,388 miles on it... it’s practically Brand New !!! The VIN is 3VWCM31Y15M310330. It was built by VW in September of 2004 and imported into the USA in October of 2004. It was sold Brand New by Gunther VW in South Florida on October 14th of 2004 with just 14 miles on the odometer to the vehicles original owner who lived in Delray Beach Florida, a very quiet and affluent area. This original owner had the Beetle GLS normally serviced at the VW dealer. This owner decided that after enjoying this Beetle GLS for just about two years that it was time for something different. This owner traded in this Beetle GLS with just 24k miles on the odometer at Gunther VW in on August 30th of 2006. Gunther VW put this Beetle GLS Convertible through their service department for VW's 112 Point Certified PreOwned Inspection and granted it to be a CERTIFIED PREOWNED VW with the extended 2yr or additional 24k miles warranty coverage beyond the normal factory new car warranty term. That gave this Beetle GLS Convertible warranty coverage until October 14th of 2010 !! Gunther VW had no trouble finding this beautiful Beetle it's new home. This Beetle's second owner lived in Miami Florida and kept it normally serviced at Esserman VW in Miami Gardens FL. This second owner enjoyed this Beetle for about four and a half years and in January of 2011 decided to trade it in at Lauderdale Infiniti in Fort Lauderdale FL on a Brand New G37 Convertible they had for sale. I just bought this Beetle GLS directly from Lauderdale Infiniti to offer for sale here on eBay. THE CONDITION The overall condition of the vehicle is very good. If you really try to find things to knit pick... It does have a few minor microchips on the hood and a couple of minor hairline scratchs or scuffs here or there, but nothing that takes anything away from this amazingly beautiful machine. The leather looks absolutly beautiful. The paint shines with a beautiful luster. The carpeting is plush. The material on the door panel armrests is slightly loose. Some of the rims have some minor curb rash. Mechanically she is excellent. It starts right up and purrs... She is very peppy and I drove it on the highway and the engine had plenty power to give me. I have two master keys and the owners manuals. Sorry, no floormats. The tires on this VW are the factory correct P205/55R16's with approx 90% of the tread life left on them. I ran the AutoCheck on this VW and it came back PERFECTLY Clean with no accident history as well. It also notated the AutoCheck Assured Buyback Protection. The Autocheck scored this Beetle an 88 and noted that similar vehicles score between a 70 and an 82... so this Beetle GLS Convertible SCORED ABOVE THE TOP OF ITS CLASS !!!! As standard practice... on any vehicle we purchase; we have a Post Sale Inspection done by an ASE Certified and NAAA Frame Inspection Certified inspector. This is an inspection that checks the major mechanicals of the vehicle as well as a full frame and structure inspection. This inspection, if a defect is found, allows us to give back the vehicle to who we bought it from; therefore rest assured that you are not bidding on and buying a piece of junk. The inspection was completed on February 11th of 2011 and no mechanical defects or frame damage was found. I have taken over 100 photos of this beautiful vehicle.
