Up for sale is a 1989 Honda Pilot FL400R. This machine is in very good condition for the age and has been un-restored and not modified. This machine is in original condition even down to the tires and wheels. It is believed that it is even on the original bore and piston. Compression is around the 138psi mark which is well within the Honda spec. Judging by the condition of the tires and cylinder compression, I would have to say that it has low hours. Seat doesn’t have any tears or holes, front fenders have some scratches but not broken or faded. Paint is in excellent condition, even the blue paint on the shocks is near perfect. CV boots are not cracked or show any wear or leakage of grease. Cage and frame is near perfect without bends or dings. Front bumper is flawless and is free of dents. Sight glasses for the master cylinders are extremely clear for their age and there are no leaks. Front a-arms are straight as an arrow but the paint has been worn from riding in tall grass. Buggy is not perfect but in very good condition. If anything it could use decals and the horseshoe seat belt collar replaced. The original wheels also have some dings in them but all tires hold air just fine. Everything on this Pilot works including: Choke cable, parking brake cable, all brakes, high and low beams, brake light, reverse light, all warning lights on steering wheel work, cooling fan, and low fuel switch. I am including 2 full sets of tires and wheels…….yes 8 tires and wheels. One full set that is new for sand dune riding and another set of tires and wheels for trail riding. All the wheels are .190” aluminum both ITP and Douglas wheels. That is $1000+ worth of tires and wheels. A brand new whip for ORV park riding is also included. A new OEM Honda spare belt will also be included with the machine. I will also include the Service Manual and bill of sale. Kansas residents will have to pay 7.3% Sales Tax. Payment will be due within 5 days of auction end. A $500 non-refundable deposit will be required at the end of Auction. Money orders/cashier’s checks will need to clear my bank before the Pilot leaves my possession. I can aid in the delivery to Missouri, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Nebraska possibly for free as long as it is to the boarder of Kansas but it will have to be on the weekend….beyond that it will be your responsibility for shipping. Item can be shipped from Wichita, Kansas.
