For sale is a rolling chasis for a 1971 Volkswagon SuperBeetle Convertible. The body is in good condition with a like-new Canary Yellow paint job - matching new fenders are included. The interior has also been painted, and the floor boards are in good shape. The interior will otherwise need to be restored. The engine is seized. The status of the transmission is unknown. The convertible frame is included, but there is no vinyl / canvas top. This car was purchased two years ago and has been kept protected from the weather. The previous owner's body work / paint job had to be worth my purchase price - the LOW RESERVE is set at half that amount. I do not have time to tackle its restoration, even though the good condition of the body and paint have given it an exceptional starting point. The title is clear and transferable. This forty year old car is being sold As IS / Where IS with no warranties. Shipping and / or pickup is the responsibility of the the winning bidder. A $100.00 deposit is required. Full payment is expected within 72 hours of the end of the auction by bank wire transfer, over night bank certified funds, or cash in person.
