You are bidding on a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 door hardtop (no post). I will describe the car as accurately as I can, if I miss anything, please ask any & all questions. This is an older cosmetic restoration finished in turquoise & white with matching interior. The paint and body are showing their age, the paint is checking in areas & some body work is starting to bubble. Not bad but is is present-see pictures. Both front floor pans have been repaired at some point, but are solid with no holes. The trunk appears to be solid with a small hole in the spare tire hole. The right door glass is cracked, see picture. All other glass is good. Rear chrome bumper section should be rechromed. All other chrome & stainless is very nice and straight too. The 6 cylinder engine runs smoothly with no known issues and the power glide transmission shifts as it should. The electrical system has been converted to 12 volts and all lights work as they should including the backup lights. The car has 2 very rare factory options; one being power windows & the other power seat. Other options include power glide transmission, back up lights, am radio, front & rear bumper guards, gas door guard, fender skirts, traffic light viewer and wide white wall tires. The heater core has been bypassed so I assume it leaks. The head liner stitching has come undone in the front seam and will need to be resewn or replaced, see picture. These 1953-1954 Bel Air 2 door hardtops have dramatically increased in popularity. All in all, this is a great looking 1954 Chevrolet that has participated in many of the world famous Woodward Dream Cruises. It has never overheated. It always gets many thumbs up and smiles because it looks so good from 10-20 feet away. It's a great little driver that you can work on, if you so wish, to make it a show car or just enjoy it as is.
