Extremely Rare to be Legally Titled in California Current CA clear title and non-op registration since accident (just this past year) 1980 300GD Mercedes Benz Gelandewagen / Gwagen This vintage car was in excellent, almost show condition when it was being used around the owner's ranch last year and was rolled at low speed down a grassy hill. As you can see the bodywork is mostly bent, but does seem to have a good rear cargo door and good hood. With replacement bodywork, the car will be a good project, or convert to incredible off-road buggy Original Interior Seats Dash, guages, controls all in excellent condition. Rear sliding windows (one bent) OM617 5 cyl diesel 300D style motor is stock and original 463 Alloy wheels Split Rear Bumper setup from 1983-on G Front bullbar, custom Will start and run, but will not drive. This vehicle will need to be towed. Transfer case, axles, steering, transmission, driveshafts, engine all seem good. Either a great rebuilder, or combine with another G for the mechanicals and chassis/title. See photos for condition. As is sale. Title is Clear, not salvage.
