1983 Honda CM250C Custom

1983 Honda CM250C Custom. This is the grandfather of the Honda Rebel. This is a rare bike due to the fact that it has a belt drive instead of chain. Only produced for 1 year. The bike has about 12,000 miles. A tune up was given before winter started. Everything on the bike works great and starts on first try. I bought the bike this year as my first bike and was used as a daily rider. I have put close to 2,000 miles on bike since I bought it. I would not hesitate to ride this bike anywhere. This is a great bike to learn on and pass the riders test. This bike is a former Motorcycle Safety School Learner bike. Buy the bike learn how to ride and sell it easily for what you paid for it. Great city or town bike due to low weight, seat height, very nimble, light clutch action, and power. I am told this bike is easier to ride than a Rebel and fits better too. I have all the part to bring the bike back to original condition ( seat, belt guard, and luggage rack which are not installed on bike). The fenders were rusty and had pitted chrome so I sanded the rust off and primed them black. Bike looks better this way also. There is a small dent on the gas tank, a scratch on the engine guard, right side panal has a crack, and the headlight is dented, the bike came this way.
