1940 Ford Deluxe 2 dr. Sedan Black (all steel body) with fiberglass running boards. No patch panels or rust. Shaved, nosed and decked. Engine: 350 Chevrolet with 327/350 HP cam and lifters. Edelbrock aluminum intake with 600 cfm Edelbrock electric choke carb. HTC coated block hugger headers. Billet aluminum value covers and air cleaner. Chrome one-wire 80 amp alternator. Dual exhaust with turbo mufflers and Megs stainless exhaust tips. Battery in truck. Chassis: Original with 4” dropped axle. Split wishbones. Panard bar, Front spring with Teflon buttons. Front brakes are GM disc with 4 ¾ bolt pattern. Rear brakes are drum with 4 ¾ bolt pattern. Rear-End is GM 12 bolt with 3:23 gears. Sway Bar. Rear springs have Teflon buttons for smoother ride. Interior: Lavender tweed with pleated front and rear seats. Sculpted door panels with pockets. Pockets behind driver and passenger seats. Carpets are grape trimmed in raspberry. Trunk is done the same as the carpets. Tilt steering column by IDIDIT. Steering Wheel is Billet and is the half wrap Banjo model with the leather half being burgundy in color. Gauges are VDO and they are the gold version. Knobs on dash are Billet. Polished aluminum radio block off plate. Heat & Air: By Vintage Wheels and Tires: Polished American Torque Thrusts, Fronts 14x6x4 3/4 On 195x75x14 black wall tires. Rear are 15x7x4 3/4 on 225x70x15 black wall tires. All four wheels have Billet flat caps from Southern Rods. All rubber has been replaced on the front /rear windows, trunk, and vent (which still operate). Electric Wipers. Billet lighted license plate holder. All chrome on the car is in very, very good shape. The car has a new Vintage chrome grill. Car comes with a front bra and a custom made California car cover.
