Up for sale is a 1970 chevelle in running and driving condition. It was originally born with a 350 engine in classic white exterior color and a red vinyl interior. It was built in the los angeles plant and that is all the history we know. At some point the engine was taken out and a recent 1969 396 JQ code was dropped in. It has roller rockers, a healthy cam and backed by a turbo 400 trans with about a 2500 stall converter. Car is very healthy and STRONG. New dual exhaust and flowmasters make the car sound great. Interior is a few months old with new carpet, door panels and seat covers being installed but in black as shown. Car has new fenders on it along with a cowl inducted hood with the flapper door and no other items to make it work. In the rear 1/2 quarters were put on the car. The doors have some filler in the corners and can be salvaged. Tires are new goodyear eagle st's with the blue coating still on the lettering.I would probably put a new decklid on it as it is a little weak along the seam. With repos's out there and the fact that these ares shared with skylarks and monte carlo's they are not rare. Car has factory disc brakes up front. Top will need replacing as it is original. The top pump operates but does not move the top up or down. Have not investigated if it just needs fluid. Lights all work. Car has a new trunk pan installed and finished off with spatter paint and looks nice. Frame is solid with just surface scale. Floor pans need some work and have some holes mainly in the rear. it looks like someone put down new floor pieces on top of the old before laying carpet down. We are unaware if they are welded screwed or how they were done. Rear bumper is new and very nice, front is original and good driver quality.
