HERE'S AN OLDIE... BUT A GOODIE!!! ~RATROD, STREETROD, CUSTOM, DRIVER~ This may be the one you've been lookin' for! The CHASSIS is original with a Mustang front crossmember grafted in, A-ARMS, STRUTS, etc. including new Thunderbird Power Rack, new GM Big Brakes (11" rotors), bearing, seals, tie-rod ends, steering shaft, & U-joints! This truck sets nice & low with a good rake & the TIRES DO NOT RUB the fenders when turning sharp! This means a lot when setting up front suspensions correctly. New custom Sway Bar, Power Steering Lines, Power Brake Booster, Tilt Wheel U-Jointed into rack, new Motor Mounts; Frame has been boxed in the front under the cab for strength & clean looks! The Tranny Mount & the Crossmember is CUSTOM & REMOVEABLE for easy access to the transmission. The Rear Suspension (out of a late '60's NOVA), Leaf Springs, Shackels, & 3:08 (Eaton Posi) Gear is grafted on the back of the Chassis. Has a newer Fuel Cell out of a (late model) Ford Truck; new Fuel & Brake Lines! New Shocks-front & rear! New CUSTOM BUILT RADIATOR, ELECTRIC FAN, & ELECTRIC RELAY & THERMOSTAT (wired to operate cooling fan) by Vernon Walker of WALKER RADIATOR WORKS! New E-Z Wire Wiring Harness! New Halogen Headlights! GM Tilt Wheel All New (ELECTRONIC) Gauges WOLF WHISTLE!!! TRUMPET DUAL 6 Volt Horns (sound sweet when you tap them!) AS FOR THE CAB-New (Cab) Corners, lower door skins, door bottoms & new floorboard-AND step-in at door has been replaced! ***NOTE*** THE PLATE AT THE DOOR STEP is the Vehicle ID Number>>>AND it MATCHES the title! One door glass has been replaced the REST is ORIGINAL! It even has a decal on the back glass with V.P.I. (VA TECH!) & REBEL FLAGS! (ORIGINAL~!~!~!) I believe these decals came out in the '50's for Virginia Polytechnic Institute NOW for THE POWER!!! BUICK 455 bored out to 471 CUBIC INCH (.030) CHET HERBERT CAM 510 LIFT (CUSTOM GROUND) ALL fresh machine work: HIGH VOLUME OIL PUMP '72 BLOCK EDELBROCK INTAKE & CARBURETOR HEI DISTRIBUTOR WIRES BALANCED CRANK HEADS WORKED ALL NEW EXHAUST THROUGHOUT TO THE "NASCAR STYLE" SIDEPIPES-TOTALLY WELDED & GROUND SMOOTH (NO CLAMPS!) PAINTED WITH STAINLESS STEEL PAINT>>>AWESOME RUMBLE! ENGINE NEW & STRONG with less than 1800 miles! The TRANNY is a re-built 400 with a new 3000 stall converter! FACTORY NOVA drive shaft, 8" RALLY WHEELS with Stainless Steel Rings & Caps, NEW 235 FRONT & 255 REAR tires -Bed floor & tailgate are weak but they re-manufacture both- The FORD TAURUS GAS FILLER & FLAP is FRENCHED IN the rear fender The FRENCHED IN TAIL LIGHTS are '50 PONTIAC (LED!) ALL of the sheet metal, that I have replaced (with new) in the truck, is sprayed in CLEAR so you can actually SEE the work!!! NO BOTCHED FILLER WORK! All this truck needs is YOU! It can be driven "AS IS" or... body work, paint, & interior to suit your taste! EVERYTHING has been taken apart & reassembled EXCEPT the Cab has NOT been off of the Frame. This HOT ROD has a SUPER LOOK! & runs STRONG! The Front Suspension has been aligned to PERFECTION & drives GREAT! This truck HOOKS UP very good with no wheel hop-is STRONG for a 3:08! I'm sure it would really RIP with a 3:50 gear!-since I like a "driver", I preferred sticking with the 3:08. MAKE ONE THING CLEAR! LOOK AT THIS TRUCK CLOSELY!
