Here is a 1977 R75/7 titled 1978 with a production date of 10/76.This is a very early /7 one of a very limited and desirable production run of 6264 units that rolled off the assembly line from 7/76 to 6/77.This bike has all original Monza blue paint and was recently purchased from the original owners son.Being one of the first ones off the line it has a /6 style Sport fuel tank with the raised fuel cap.The original owners son has assured us that this is the way the bike came from the dealer when his Dad bought it brand new and upon examination of the paint and the rest of the bike I believe so.This bike has 37,718 miles and is in excellent shape.Here's a YouTube tour. All matching numbers with a clear title.It had a valve job and rings installed in june 2008.I just installed new pushrod tube seals,cylinder base and head gaskets.Other features are dual plugged heads with Dyna electronic ignition and Dyna coils,Chrome Reynolds ride off centerstand,Telefix front fork brace,Krauser saddlebags with liners,tank bag,toolkit,manual,tire pump, Krauser rear rack and blue pinstriped rims.The saddlebags have a nice extra set of latches installed to prevent the bags from the in flight failures they were prone to.The seat has the Airhead quick release system which allows you to remove the seat straight up without removing the saddlebag.Pretty slick.The seat is in excellent condition.There is a nice set of heavy duty touring mirrors on the machine also.This bike was always well maintained and garaged.It is now being kept in complete climate controlled atmosphere. The tires are good,sealed battery with all electrics functioning properly and a current Pa state inspection.This machine is ready to roll and carry you on the ultimate tour or a great rock solid platform for your cafe project you have been contemplating for some time.Either way this bike has plenty of power for whatever your plans.There are a few knicks in the paint here and there and a scuff or 2 on the chrome as this bike is 35 years old but very little rust,it is rock solid and clean.I doubt you can find another bike close with all these features for my price.
