This 1970 Mach1 351C is a survivor car. It was purchased new in Salem, Oregon and before the warranty expired was resold and kept by the same lady until I purchased this car in 2006. There was 97000 miles on the car when I got it and just needed some cosmetic cleanup which included chroming and new seat cushions, covers, floor carpet, and drivers floor pan. I put on the 15 inch Magnum 500 wheels with BFG tires and kept the original wheel covers. My son who is an apprentice bodyman took the car under his wing and really did a great job of cleaning and polishing. There are detailed service records which document the mileage and also show the car was very well maintained. It shows there was a transmission rebuild but the engine was never opened. The records show Skyline Ford in Salem did $809 worh of body work in 1988 but does not specify damage other than 4 hrs of body work and the remainder paint and decals. The car has air conditioning and like everything else works well. I have taken this car to some fun car shows and it always has been very respected for its history and great looks. I found 2 copies of the build sheets when replacing the seat cushions which verify the car has all its original equipment. I have even got the original owners manual. This Mach1 will start immediately using the original keys and runs smoothly and has a great exhaust sound on the open road. Very comfortable and ready to take to your favorite road and meet some fun people at the car show. The car is located in Spokane, Wa. and buyer will arrange transportation.
