You are bidding on a 1985 Pontiac Fiero GT. My sister special ordered it to get a V6 and purchased this vehicle new in Oklahoma. I bought it from her and drove it to California, then to pennsylvania. Being in the southern sun faded the paint. After letting a friend drive it for a while, a ticking sound started in the motor once the RPM's reached 1500 or higher. I drove it to work that way for about a year. Wanting to completely restore like new, I garaged it for several years. I then had to move it outside. It starts and runs (no oil leaks), but still has the ticking sound above 1500 RPM's. It has not been tagged or inspected for years. I did start it occasionally. Currently it is at a garage, I had the mechanic evaluate what needs to be done to pass inspection so I can tag. Needs all new brakes, wiper blades, and tires. I put new tires on when I moved it outside. Although the tires have not been driven on and still have new tread, the side walls are cracking (see photo) and must also be replaced. As for the tick in the motor, one mechanic thinks it could be a bent pushrod. Another says it might be something more. Since I'm not able to do all I want and don't know when I will, I am choosing to sell to someone who would be interested in a project or... As the pic's show all lights, including the auto headlight motors work fine. Needs a good cleaning, new paint job, driver's seat has tear in seam (see pic), No dents, although a couple of the plastic pieces need new clips and the plastic piece on passenger side in front of back tire is cracked.
