1966 Pontiac GTO Re-Create, or Clone a Nostalgic Straight Axle Gasser… A unique and authentic GTO Hardtop with a June build date… the Trim Tag is shown if interested to decode factory options… Other than saying this Ol’Goat marked up side streets of Chicago, its racing history is sketchy and limited at best… The front end fabrication was completed by a shop in Chicago (Chapman Automotive) in the very early 70’s… the fabrication work looks good, not something cobbled together by someone learning to stick weld!! The frame is solid… the body is rusty... If you enjoy doing your own fabrication work much of this could be built in your own garage. Everything I have for the car is seen in the pictures.
