All original 1977 MGB, 4cyl, 4speed - convertible 41,000 original miles, runs like new. Only known replacement part is the water pump we put on about a month ago. Extremely clean engine bay. The engine uses/leaks very little oil. An oil pan replacement gasket would take care of every drop, does not burn any oil! We change the oil every three months, and it only uses about a quart between changes. Body is in unbelievable condition!! No restoration of any kid----ABSOLUTELY NO RUST ANYWHERE ON THE CAR!!!! Only two very small dings, barely noticeable, and easily fixed. The paint is original and still in great condition for the year. I have a new-in the box stripe kit, just in case someone wants to repaint in the future. The convertible top in still in great shape, but I also have a brand new top in the box, just waiting for installation!!! Interior is excellent (even still has the original 8-track player!!). I replaced some of the carpet. (the original was good, but showing a couple of wear spots) When changing the carpet, I inspected the entire pan....ABSOLUTELY PERFECT METAL.......NOT EVEN A HINT OF RUST!!! Everything works great!!! This car runs great and needs NOTHING to be a great daily driver!!! With VERY LITTLE work, could be fully restored to a 100% perfect, show room car. It is a blast to drive!!! On Feb-05-11 at 21:53:54 PST, seller added the following information: I added some pics....New pics include the extras I did not mention..the factory covers....remember---new top is in the box as well. We also cleaned the trunk area of the smudges....the engine is NOT detailed, we have never needed to touch it!!! New pics show a little more I hope.
