Up for auction is 1977 Dodge M880 pickup truck. This truck looks like a 3/4T truck but is actually rated at 1 1/4T and when you drive it you can believe it. The suspension is stout. It is a full time four wheel drive. This baby is ready to pull anything or go anywhere. This truck needs nothing except exhaust. The drivetrain is the standard 318, 2 bbl, 727 automatic transmission, Dana 60 rear and Dana 44 front differentials, 4.10 gears f & r. The brakes, tires, and suspension are all in good shape. The emergency brake still works. The only power accessory is power brakes. The body is straight and solid. Very minor rust above the left rear wheelwell. A previous owner attached a metal plate covering most of the rust. Between that and the paint, the rust is not noticeable. It has 2 new taillaight lenses. Newer sliding back window. This truck is ready to haul or tow. It has 3 different types of hitches: a 5th wheel, pintle style, and regular class III receiver hitches. The top end of the motor is fresh. Not because of poor running, but because of exhaust leaks. Long story. Heads replaced, heater hoses, radiator hose, thermostat, battery, fan belt, dist.cap & wires, coolant all new. Motor runs great. Cylinders were not worn when heads were off. No cylinder ridge at all. All gauges and lights work except interior dome light. Halogen sealed beam headlights.
