Vehicle Detail
This is a nice, nice car for a relatively easy restoration. You could even drive it during the work. I purchased this vehicle about 2-years ago out of the Riverside, California area. I owned a body shop at the time and intended to restore it in my spare time BUT, due to the economy and the body business going to hell, I never got to do anything to the car and subsequently closed my business in July of last year. The car sat for years and eventually the convertible top became rotted allowing water into the car and puddling on the floor. Consequently, all 4 of the Floor Pans need to be replaced. These are readily available from various After-Market sources and not a big job at all for someone with a mig/wire feed welder, air chisel and the skill to use them. The rest of the vehicle has very little damage or rust. There are a couple of rust holes in a bolt-on filler panel/s around the engine but nowhere else. There are a few places where the paint if peeling off of what looks to me like small areas of old bondo probably. Other than that, the paint is not checked or cracked and is adhering overall. The interior is ok - usable as-is, but also completely available After-Market - seats and all.. And last but not least, the engine and trans are fine and the car runs very well.. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. If I don't know the answer, I'll go look at the car and find out for ya...
