Up for auction is a 1959 Metropolitan that I purchased in IN from an elder guy. He said it was all the original numbers matching. It would be a great little project car. I did start the car to make sure it runs and the horn, turn signals, and even the tube type radio plays. It has really nice seats and door panels, glass is good. Doors open and shuts good, I don't see any rust in the trunk, the original jack and spare is there. He had started to rebuild the brakes and everything has been put on new, wheel cylinders, rubber brake lines only thing left is to install new master cylinder which is included and blead the brakes. And then this car should be ready to drive pretty quickly. The tires look new. This is a rare little project car, being original and all there, not took apart. Selling "AS IS" no warranty.
