You cannot blend a Rolls Royce with the other cars traveling down the street. It only takes one glimpse and you know you’re looking at something different. Rolls Royce has been the definition of luxury since they first opened there doors. This Silver Shadow shows the quality that goes into making these cars. Although this car was produced in 1976 it still looks remarkable. The two tone color scheme of minty green and black sets things off in traditional Rolls Royce style. All the chrome is in outstanding condition along with thick crystal clear glass. The over sized wheels are color matched, the hood ornament is gleaming, and the grill flashes light off the front like a chandler. In other words, a Rolls Royce is coming your way. Inside you wouldn’t expect anything less than A1 quality, and that’s exactly what you get. The seats are the same minty green as the paint, leather of course. From the passenger side to the driver’s side everything is beveled into warm wood grain, along with the steering wheel. The condition of the leather is outstanding. The same can be said for the head lining, the door panels and floors. Proper care was issued when taking care of this car. Sitting inside the Shadow you cannot help but feel safe. Almost like getting into a German tank, with plush padded leather seating inside. The Silver Shadow came equip with a hydraulic ride leveling system developed by Citroën. When in reverse the car actually leans back, giving you the proper weight distribution and view of the road behind you. While driving it kneels forward a bit, keeping the powerful 6.7 liter V8 from lifting the car’s hood off the road. Independent suspension, disc brakes, power locks, power windows, power steering, and many more things that we take for granted today, were standard on the Shadow. The engine is mated up to a numbers matching Turbo Hydromatic 400 transmission. This car runs over instantly and rolls along almost like an ocean wave. It takes off, it stops, but never abruptly, it just fades away quickly and smoothly. You cannot hide class. This car actually spent quite a while in a Washington D.C. museum if you had concerns on the condition. This car is priced to sell. If you’ve always wanted a piece of luxury that still stands up to the cars of today, this is it. 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow for Sale 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow for Sale Stock #1391-CHA (866) 542-8392 - (704) 598-2130 sales@streetsideclassics.com Showroom Hours: Monday - Saturday 9:00am - 6:00pm 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow for Sale VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS ENGINE: 6.75L BODY STYLE: Sedan TRANSMISSION: 3-Speed Automatic EXTERIOR COLOR: Black MILEAGE: 7,488 INTERIOR COLOR: Green VEHICLE FEATURES & OPTIONS A/C,Seatbelts,Radial Tires,Hub Caps,Leather Interior,Power Locks,Power Seats,Power Windows,Power Steering,Power Brakes,AM Radio,8 Track Player,Numbers Matching SELLER REMARKS When the double “R” badge turns a corner, everyone notices it.
