1968 Mercedes 280 S, VIN # 10801612010459, body 108,engine large inline 6,looks to be about 300 Cu.In.Dual Zenith carbs,I have only seen a few of these online, with the dual carbs since I bought this in 2004.Had fuel tank cleaned,etched and resealed,new fuel lines,new fuel pump,mechanic now says,carbs. need rebuilt,plunger is not pumping the gasStarts right up and runs tight when gas is fed into carb.Kits are about 109.00 online,much cheaper tha local prices. Also new ignition switch.Also new battery.I purchased this vehicle in 2004 from a gentleman that aquired it from an estate.The odometer says 84,but have receipts found in paperwork,totaling about 1500.00 worth of work, from the the original owner ,which included some work on speedometer,the 2 receipts show 31333 and 31889.The receipt are from 1981 and 1982.Have all manuals and paperwork still in plastic folder with afore mentioned receipts.Clear Texas title and sales affidafit.All latches,doors,trunk,hood etc.tight.Body very straight,some surface rust,most has been sanded off.Interior in very good shape as shown in pictures,smaal blemish on drivers side.Carpet on passenger side back,Passenger side door glass was shot out with pellet when it was at mechanic shop.Temporarily replaced w/ plexiglass.Have original drivers side mirror,Looks to be original new spare,with original jack,lug wrench. As pictures show in very good condition considering age.All complete,all 4 original hubcaps.Just put clips of Adsit on as example of what these used parts sale for.I.E. front or back bumper 750.00 each.
