Vehicle Detail
Well I don't know even where to begin.. There has been so much done it is hard to describe. This is a 1960 Dodge Power Wagon Town Wagon. Basically the first "SUV". Restoration on this vehicle started many years ago. And now that I have lost my job I can no longer afford to complete my dream.. :-(.... So now I'm forced to sell my favorite Earthly material. Ok so here we go. First this rig has nothing stock on it except for the front windshield, everything else has been done. Engine Specs: 1969 383 Chrysler block standard bore and crank 1968 383 906 heads with hardened exhaust seats and hard chrome stem valves Banana oil passages on rocker shafts Double roller timing chain 350 horse 440 cam Windage tray 7 quart truck oil pan Motor home water pump 1976 Cordoba accessory brackets with modified power steering brackets to clear frame Weiand intake manifold and Holly 670cfm Truck Avenger Carb Mopar performance Raised Block electronic ignition package 1976 cop car 100amp alternator Mopar Performance pro stock starter Sanderson Headers MSD Wires Transmission Specs: 1974 727 with shift kit to eliminate 3rd gear overlap 1969 postal jeep tail housing and mainshaft Conversion to allow oil flow in park 1967 Chrysler trans pan with factory drain plug Brakes Specs: Hard lines replaced with 3/16 Braided steel hoses front and rear Front brakes are 1984 Chevy 3/4 ton disks Master cylinder 1972 Dodge 3/4 ton disk/drum Vacuum booster 1975 Dodge truck Parke brake cable 1987 Chevy P van with handle Electrical Specs: Engine harness 1976 Charger mated to 1989 Caravan bulkhead connector 1989 Caravan fuse box circuits as marked on box Miscellaneous: 1977 Cordoba steering column 1975 Cordoba brake pedal and dash brace 1975 Cordoba park brake pedal 1989 Caravan seats, vent window motors, and overhead console 1964 Plymouth Fury a/c outlets and reverse lights 1975 Cordoba fuel tank and evap system 1989 Caravan rear seat Hinges for side vent windows from Astro van This is just the tip of the ice berg with this vehicle. This truck only has 28,768 miles on the engine transmission and transfercase. The front driver seat is electric, the back two vent windows are electric, the visors have mirrors and light up, it has custom wood paneling through out the entire interior, it has a Pioneer custom radio and four speakers, it has a center console mounted to the ceiling that lights up, it even tells you the outside temperature. It has an 8000lbs Ramsey winch on front. Not too much more you could ask for from a vehicle as custom as this one is. The front axle is a Dana 44. The rear axle is a Dana 60. 4.10 gears. The transfercase is a c-92501 military case. It has 33x12.50x16.5 tires. Fullsize spare. Custom bumbers. I'm about 3/4 done with the restoration, the place where I left off is where you can pick up if you wish. Here is the last of what I was going to do to it, It needs: Windshield wiper system Heat and A/C (if you are into that) I already have the compressor on the motor The power steering reconnected, has a broken bolt inside the block, nothing major I just don't have the cash flow any more like I said The fuel gauge stopped working not sure what is up there?? The electric fuel pump went out just today as I was warming it up. I do not have the cash to fix it or I would not be selling the truck. Other than this stuff and a paint job the truck is done!! This is a rare classic to find in such good shape and I'm very sure this is probably the only one with this much stuff in it. The NADA guides list this vehicle somewhere near 24,876 and it should be considering the time and sweat that has gone into building this awesome vehicle. I know I will NEVER see the true value back out of my truck so I listed it at 6,500 which is fair for the person buying it more than it is fair for me. But I really need the money at this point so family comes first and toys last. If you have any questions about this vehicle please call Ryan at 210-200-9420. On Jan-14-11 at 06:49:28 PST, seller added the following information: I'M GETTING A LOT OF QUESTIONS ABOUT FIXING THE VEHICLE. I'M NOT GOING TO SPEND ONE MORE DIME ON THIS TRUCK IF I AM SELLING IT THIS CHEAP!! VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS WHERE IS. IT IS UP TO YOU TO GET IT TO WHERE EVER IT IS GOING. IF I SOLD IT FOR 10,000 OR MORE LIKE I SHOULD GET FOR IT, THEN I WOULD PROBABLY HELP OUT. BUT FOR ONLY 6,500 YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN...
