(GE6031) 1998 Ford Explorer XL 4x4, 4.0L V6 Engine, Automatic Transmission. The mileage is low, 45,366, however this truck has been utilized as a Plant support vehicle in a very corrosive environment with the majority of the miles off road on dirt / salt capped roads. The vehicle does run but everything about it is worn out (suspension, engine, transmission). The air conditioner does work and the 4-wheel drive works. The rear liftgate door has been replaced. This truck was originally dedicated as a support vehicle that required a small truck crane be mounted on the roof. It has been removed and a metal plate has been installed to cover the hole. Be advised, make no mistake about it, while this vehicle does run it is in very poor overall condition. It did pass the last smog inspection on 4/1/10 for the registration renewal. The current registration will expire 3/28/11. SVM does not have the title, however, GE has given SVM authorization to sell this truck. GE will send the title to the purchaser, typically, within 10 working days.
