Vehicle Detail
This car has been garaged for the last 10 years. It was running when parked. The motor has been dismanteled. Motor is still in pieces in the trunk. Car is complete but needs paint. It will need a head gasket, and main rod bearings to run (bearings were not seated correctly when assembled). Rods may need to be re-sized, or replaced. Crank is good, as well as the rest of the motor. New water pump(6 years ago, un-used). new fuel pump(30 hours, also have working original). Head has been ported and polished, as well as exaust manifold, all the way to turbo as well as the (blow off valve, then tapered to sound cooler-lol). Turbo has been set to run about 13-14 psi(maybe 7 stock). Valves have been lapped and seated. The rest of the motor is stock. Ram cold air K&N air filter(small fan belt damage has been siliconed off). 2 1/4 exaust, into raven glasspack silencer. AC has been removed, but heater still works good. Radiator fan is switched, to keep always on. Tranny is missing 2nd gear(chevy sprint non-turbo has the same trans, and can be found in almost any junk yard{$60-80}). 2 amp, 12 watt solar trickle charger on hood, keeps battery fresh. Intercooler air has been re-directed via hood scoop, as to bypass radiator heat. Interior: gutted to steel. I have only the front seats. Back seats have been removed. 2 sets of side windows(1 dark tint - 1 clear for registration issues). New front window. Stereo(kenwood p.o.s.) may not be hooked up. Passenger side has a 7 inch lcd in dash, runs on 12 volts, needs power ran to battery still. Dash light(gauges) is a small blue flourecent. Less then 57,000 miles. Turbo boost gauge. Fuel air mixture gauge. Tail lights work but have a wiring problem that I belive to be in the harness...(I have temp. wires ran). Coils have been cut by previous owner, mabe 3 inches, to lower car. 15 inch aluminum Toyota rims puts this car on rails(12 stock). Braking system is in good condition.Tires need to be replaced. Body is in great condition(no rust), aside from paint, and 1 small dent above front left tire. The grill has been removed. I also put a wing low, to direct even more air over the turbo. This car is a work in progress, but needs very little to be a daily driver again. I'm sure there's a lot I forgot, but I haven't even seen the car since it was parked. I loved this car and still do. Fast(13-14 sec. 1/4), Light(less then 1000lbs), Cheap(40-45 mpg), and normally reliable. Its like a go-cart with registration. Only selling because the I have nowhere to store it anymore. Any other questions, just ask. This is being re-listed due to lack of description last auction. Title is clear, though it may be off the records by now.
