I am relisting because I had the mileage wrong in the earlier listing. This Explorer Sport 2-door has an issue with the timing chain. I took the oil pan off and found some pieces of plastic or nylon in the oil pan. I talked to 2 different people that work on them and they both said it was the timing chain tensionier. I tried a local junk yard and thry would only give me $50.00. The tires are worth that. The last time I started it, it would start. No smoke just noise from front of engine. Here are the things that are wrong with it also: Windshield is cracked, Speedometer only worked some times, it does have rust showing in the door jambs, had a hard time getting the hood opened and I have not closed it, it has been sitting for 2 years. It does have a moonroof, a cd changer, the tires are in desent shape.I am selling it for parts or repair. Pick up only. Buyer can pay at pick up. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
