**NOTE** This truck is not a rat rod!!! It was built approximately 4 1/2 years ago .. I am located less than 2 hours north of St. Louis Mo. and approx. 5 hours south-west of Chicago and 4 hours south of Iowa City - COMPLETE Frame off 8500 miles ago- No corners were cut during this build - NO JUNK HERE !!! I did NOT go out and clean or detail this truck.. it has been garage kept since the day it was built and driven to work every single day.... Some of the goodies are : Completely rebuilt electronic GM distributor, Lokar shifter , Wilwood quad caliper front brakes ... EXCELLENT BRAKING SYSTEM ! Heidt's Rack and Pinion front end , Heidt's power steering with adjustable valve, ShockWave rear 4-link, 4 corner independant Shock Wave Air-Ride suspension system, (yes the dome light works) Griffin aluminum radiator, stock 355 4brl, all engine brackets are lazer cut Allen Grove, and new power steering pump , 7004R with beefed servo's and all necessary internal updates with shift point s that are dead on... , frame mounted transmission oil cooler, with CORRECTLY OPERATING overdrive on independent toggle, DOT approved Raingear 2 speed wiper system, Richmond 373 posi, Flow Masters,17" Hali-brand /American Racing , ISS contour seat, Classic Gauges, fuel tank under bed of truck for more cab room, I am 6' 1" 280lbs and there is more than enough room in this truck for me, 1 of my 2 grandson's and my wife (we won't discuss her weight) - The ISS seat is still as comfy as the day I put it in... Complete wiring, AM/FM/CD player with remote mounted under the seat to play your favorite tunes.., Bright LED tail lights for safety, I-DID-IT tilt column, "Old Air" heat and cold AC , new windshield and rubber, everything was new or completely rebuilt 8500 miles ago , extra set of 4 tires and wheels plus a set of 51 Oldsmobile hubcaps the 2 rear spares are new radial mud/snow tires bought last year... The only rust is in the left front fender behind the bumper in a 2-3 inch area.. paint on roof is peeling away from the primer directly over the drivers door but has never gotten any worse .. I have driven this truck religiously every day for the past 4 years and got 18-22mpg.. lower right front fender has some scratches at the bottom behind the tire/wheel and paint chips everywhere on the truck.. "bullet holes" on tail gate the cab are stickers....I have taken this truck on 3-4-5 hour trips and have had zero trouble... NO junk here, this is a rock solid old truck in need of a good home . 95% of all the nuts and bolts in this truck were purchased from Lawson Bolt Company, all the interior panels and handles from Chevy Duty-doors lock... The emergency brake is within minutes of being functional...
