Vehicle Detail

I have up for auction a 1966 Plymouth Fury III 2 door Coupe. 100% original. It has the original 318cid wide block "poly" head engine and 727 long tail automatic transmission and the original 8 3/4" rear end. I have put in a new fuel pump, and rebuilt the carburator and with clean fuel it fired up, and ran like a champ! It does need a few pieces to be complete. The engine needs a freeze plug, fan and belts, throttle cable and an exhaust installed. The Fury comes with 3 sets of interior/door panels, lots of extra parts, and the original front bench seat. I currently have a pair of 1970's white Trans Am bucket seats sitting in it. I have a radio delete panel, and clock delete panel that will go with the car. I have a few other interior parts. The rear brakes have been completely taken apart, cleaned, and are ALL new. NEW shoes, NEW wheel Cylinders, NEW hardware and springs. I have not taken the front apart to inspect them. I was just going to convert the front to disc brakes. It also needs a master cylinder for the brakes to be completed. The body is in good shape. Has the usual 44+ year old small dings. The few minor rust spots are as follows: 1 quarter size hole on the passengers side lower door, the driver and passengers side lower rear quarter panels behind the wheels are rusted due to dents(both are available in new steel cheap!!), and the rear "C" pillar bottom between the back window, and the side rear quarter windows need to be repaired. The floor boards are in good shape and only need minor patching, not complete replacement. The trunk floor is also in good shape. The windshiel has an old crack in it, but all of the other glass is good. All trim mouldings and emblems are on the car and in good usable shape with normal wear. I lowered the car 3" in the rear(with blocks) so I could get the look I wanted. It needs either the blocks removed, or the front lowered. I will leave that up to the winning bidder. I put a pair of WIDE white letter Super Sport tires on the rear, 255/ 70 15'S. They are mounted on a set of mid-60's Monaco steel wheels. The front wheels are 15" Chrysler steelies just to move it around. The Fury was originally from Georgia, and was moved to Florida years ago, but never registered. Due to Georgia not issuing titles, a bill of sale will be given. I brought this car back from Florida with plans to make a later 60's stock car looking street car, but due to having several projects, and a car accident before Christmas, I need to sell it. Please email me with any other questions you may have. The Fury is located 30 minutes north of Atlanta. The vehicle WILL need to be towed as it is not drivable. Shipping MUST be arranged by winning bidder and vehicle picked up once paymeny has cleared! I will not ship overseas! Please do not bid unless you are going to pay for it AND pick it up!!! Thanks!
