For auction is a 2000 Ford Focus ZTS. Silver in color 4 dr sedan with 2.0 ztec engine & 5 speed. 129,500 miles, 33mpg, has been in my family since new still have factory build sheet in the glove box. Has almost new tires. Runs and drives nice but has erratic charging system voltage. The voltage varies from 14.5 - 16.5 volts. I replaced 2 altenators and both battery cables but it still has high voltage. Also just replaced the belt and tensioner. I just put $500 into it and it's too cold to work on and I'm not going to freeze my butt off working on it anymore. It could be a simple fix and double your money or keep it's a nice driving car with good mileage. The mechanics I spoke to about it either said I'm getting bad altenators or the computer is dead. I haven't priced out a computer but I'm sure theres one in a junkyard or on ebay somewhere for a reasonable price. I have reciepts for what I have done to the car. The title is clear, signed and ready to go. Everything else on the car works, cd player, has most all options for the year, leather seats, my sister got bent over for $18,000 when she bought this car new in 2000. The car has 129,500 miles and shows signs of a 10 year old car. There are 2 cracks in the front valance stitched together with zipties, light surface rust on deck lid and rockers, other than that the car is solid. The car runs and drives but with the voltage problem I wouldn't drive it very far. I won't arrange for any shipping or towing so if you bid be prepared to pick it up yourself or arrange a shipper of your choice to pick it up at my house.
