This is a beautiful example of a well kept original car. No rust ever! in storage 40 years. I have included a picture when the car was picked up from storage (on trailer) to show how nice it was before I restored it. 5 years to complete restoration. Thousands spent on chroming and stainless polishing. Only the best products were used. All new weather stripping and rubber. I drove this car to many shows before it was restored and many comments on how nice it was for a original car. I am retiring and selling a couple of my quality cars. I had planed to take it to Barrett Jackson but could not make it because of the weather. The engine and transmission have less than 5000 miles. It will leak a little oil from sitting long periods.(Typical of these motors and transmissions) Buick had a very unique starting system turn the key to on press down on gas pedal and it starts. While running gas pedal opperates as normal. This is controled through the carburetor and generator. Very cool and all rebuilt. Body- Professionally Repainted to original HEH code. All PPG products Base/Clear and was color sanded and buffed to mirror finsh. Paint is less than a year old. Very straight. Left over paint will be included. All chrome and stainless was removed for painting. Interior- Nicely restored using NOS material on seats. Left over material is included in auction. All mechanicals work as they should All lights/gauges/speedometer work as they should. Engine- V-8/ 188 HP runs like a sewing machine. Trans-Dynaflo auto/ works like new Fuel system- completely rebuilt/fuel pump/carburetor/tank/sending unit. Brakes -rebuilt Tires/ wheels- restored wheels with New Coker Classic Tires.
