I've finally decided to sell my 100% original 1975 Honda CT90 (Trail 90). The bike in excellent condition and has only 284 original miles. I purchased the bike from the original owner (5 miles from my home) about 20 years ago with 240 miles and it has since been stored in my garage and only ridden up and down the street. The bike has never been stored outside. The paint is in excellent condition, many parts look like they just rolled off the showroom floor. Again, everything on the bike is original including the plastics, paint, tires, seat, grips, speedometer, shock boots and more. If you're looking for an all original CT90 in near perfect condition, this bike is for you. Everything works perfectly, including the lights/turn signals and horn. It starts first kick when cold or warm and shifts perfectly. Original owners manual included. I hate to sell such a nice bike, but I need to make room for other projects that I will use regularly. Since the bike has been sitting, I just performed the following basic services to make it ready to ride: Cleaned/rebuilt the original carburetor Changed oil New spark plug New air cleaner New battery Cleaned out fuel tank This bike is not a museum-ready 10 out of 10 bike, but could be made that nice with a little effort from the new owner. There are a few minor issues: 1. Small cracks on the original tires from being stored. This is typical as the tires are 35 years old and eventually the rubber cracks from sitting in storage. I have ridden the bike with the tires as is, but they really need to be replaced to be safe and current. 2. Chrome on mirrors and underside of rear rack. On the UNDERSIDE of the chrome rack, there is some small pitting/surface rust. The surface is still mostly silver, but there are little spots forming. This could be easily fixed with a little effort. You can't see it when looking at the bike normally, but if you stick your head under the rear fender, you can see the little rust spots on the surface. This same type of surface rust is present on original side view mirrors. I included a picture to show exactly what I talking about. 3. The passenger foot peg rubbers are cracking from being 35 years old, but could be repaired with a strong adhesive to maintain the original rubber. Overall, I feel this bike is a 9 out of 10 and is ALL ORIGINAL. Please look at my photo album on photobucket that includes 66 pictures to judge for yourself.
