i am selling my project because of loss of income and need to pay bills what i have is a 1969 gto with hide away headlights the car does need restored but is a complete car it has a pontiac 400 engine that was rebuilt before i got it i put a battery in it to start it and it back fired through the carb so i took the timing cover off to check the timing and it was in time. what the problem was was the rockers were not tightened down so i tightened them and dumped gas in the carb and it started. that is were i left it it just needs timing cover waterpump and alternator put back on as i had to take it all off every thing is there i know nothing about the transmission as i never moved it like i said it needs restored but is a solid body and complete as far as i know all chrome trim is in the car it was already takin off the car when i got it the glass is all good in the car. my reserve is $2500 so if the bid doesnt get to that point you can contact me at the end of auction and i will relist with a buy it now call jason with any questions 229-942-7582. if your interested in any street bikes or a jetski for $550 buy it now check my other auctions the car does not have a title only comes with a bill of sale which in georgia thats all you need on a car this age please check with your state to see how you would get a title for it before bidding thank youOn Jan-17-11 at 16:26:09 PST, seller added the following information: i want to ad that a guy called earlier today and asked about the floor pans i told him they were solid i want to apologize in my opiniomn they are solid but i want to be honest in this listing so i want to say that there are a couple pencil size holes in both front floor pans and the back looks good also the hood as on all old pontiac and gm vehicles the hood is starting to buckle in the middle when closing but it is not broken. also the car is factory air condition but not all the parts are there for it if you have any other questions feel free to call me i don't have a problem answering any questions i want who ever buys the car to be satisfied but we need communication happy bidding
