You are bidding on a 1967 Mercury Cougar that has been sitting in my Garage for the past two years. I hate to see this American Classic go but my job takes me to the four corners of the planet. My next corner does not allow me to take this Cougar with me. I know what I have invested in this car and the starting price for this car is what I have tied up into the drive train alone. I also know this car must sell so this is a No Reserve auction. Please know that if you are winning bidder that the car must be picked up by 30 Jan 2011. I can not deliver so you must arrange pickup of this car. This car must be hauled away. It runs but I would not drive it on the road because of the items that need to be completed on the Vehicle. This car comes with a TN Title that I have in my possession and can be transferred into your name at the time of pickup. All photos were taken on 16 Jan 2011. So what you see is what you are bidding on. Engine:Ford 302 (1996) Rebuilt in 2008 (No miles as of yet)GT40P Heads Summit 4 Barrel Carb & Intake (650CMF) Serpentine Conversion on the engine. Upgraded distributor with digital relay kit 4 core alum radiator. Sanderson Cougar exhaust headers (Custom for GT40P Heads conversion) Engine Bay painted with POR-15 never will rust or chip. Transmission: C-4 year unknown Rebuilt in 2010 Upgraded Shifter installed inside car. Exterior (In primer) all panels is great shape Chrome bumpers have some surface rust on them. Aftermarket rims and tires. Original drum brakes on all 4 wheels Interior All original to include AM radio Have push button start (no key required) Upgraded floor shifter Items that need to be completed (I don’t have the time) Exhaust needs to be completed from the Mufflers to the tailpipe. They currently dump right after the mufflers.Lines from Transmission to oil cooler Headlight vacuum tubing needs to be hooked up. New relay for sequential turn signals needs to be replaced (Truck area) The rebuilt transmission has a leak. I noticed it when I pulled it out of the garage to take the photos. Front turn signal valance needs to be installed back on the car (takes 5 minutes). I have an extra set of tail lights and other parts that will go with the sell of this car.
