Vehicle Detail
Up for auction from The Mustang Ranch in Golden, Colorado. This 69 GT 500 made it's way over to England where it ended up getting a full restoration. Then made it's way to Turnhout Belgium and then the car was purchased by me this summer from the Verschuren family car collection. The car has cleared customs, EPA and I have a clear Colorado title of motor vehicle. I also have as well a large file of documentation to go with the car. The car appears to have ben restored about 8 years ago it is unknown the mileage on all of the repair. You can tell it has not been driven much. It was also stored in a climate control and well preserved. It has a non numbers matching 428, C-6 auto, 3.50 translock 31 spline rear end which have all been completely overhauled and are in perfect working condition. The brake system and the front/ rear suspension have been completely rebuilt with OEM components and Koni shocks. All of the sheet metal and fiberglass are original to the car. Torque boxes, frame rails, floor pans, engine bay sheet metal and rockers are rust free, origonal and solid to the car. There are no signs of collision, everything opens and closes fine and all of the gaps have proper spacing. The Royal Maroon paint which is the original color is in excellent condition, a cut buff and polish job was done after the car was painted and cured. There are small scratches and a chip that all equal the size of a quarter on the passengers side scoupe. The interior was original from what I have been told, it looks great for white! more than anything this car needs a good cleaning and detail job, then I would call it a show car. There is no guarantee or warranty on this GT 500 so please call and ask as many questions as you like. I can also get you a quote from my shipping broker for transport. More pictures and the Marti report upon request. This is one car that is in a featured story called The Belgium Connection of the anual publication The Shelby American. I can send that to you as well if you like. Rich at The Mustang Ranch 303-931-5412. PLEASE BE RESPECTABLE OF MY TIME AND YOURS, I WILL ENTERTAIN OFFERS ABOVE $60,000. NO TRADES THANK YOU.
