Vehicle Detail
this is a 1973 porsche 914 with a 1.8L motor located in phoenix, arizona. the motor was recently gone though with rods balanced, rod bearings and piston rings replaced. this car is well set up for the track or autocrossing. all rust areas have been replaced and strengthening "long kits" have been installed. the car had been soda blasted and painted with an epoxy primer previous to the current owner. the delphi green color (original to the car) was applied in september 2010. the front bumper, rear bumper, rocker panels and front hood... are all fiberglass. the front hood is secured by rubber hood latches, and the rear is pinned with 4 aluminum posts. both trunks do have new carpeting. the car is sitting on Riveria wheels that are mounted on 205/60s - tires are ok for light use, but should be replaced for racing. this is not a show car. it was built to be a light weight weekend or club racer, but can easily be converted for street use. the car does not have a front or rear valance, driver side, passenger side or rear window. it is very tight and fun to drive. car is offered in "as is" condition with no warranties expressed or given. a non-refundable deposit of US $750 must be made within 24hrs of auction close. buyer is responsible for shipping and must make full payment prior to delivery. the following list are some of the "special" parts the car has...
