Up for auction is a 1963 Buick Skylark Convertible, that I just purchased from an elder guy in Decatur, In. He bought this car from the original owner in 1998 and keep it in storage. His reason for selling, his son had a serious accident and was paralysis and they needed the money to have hand controls installed on a van so he could drive again. It is red in color with red interior and has a black top. It has it's #'s matching fireball 215, 4V all aluminum engine, has a 2 speed automatic transmission, power steering, remote mirror, power top, and power trunk button. He told me it had 78,000 actual miles, but the title says exempt. The interior in the car is nice for it's age, and all seat belts are there. This car runs and drives good, transmission shifts good, needs brake work. Emergency brake, speedo, fuel gauge, wipers and lights all seems to work good. The power top is not working don't know what's wrong with it. I opened it and closed it manually. I don't see any rust on this car it looks solid underneath and in the trunk. The top looks good, all glass rolls up and down as it should. Don't look like anything is missing except the breather and original radio. I could go on and on about this car, but it is really a good little car that you could drive and enjoy while you restore. It is getting hard to find these car especially in a convertible in this condition and #'s matching. This is a good little winter project car that can be ready to drive and enjoy in the spring.
