hi, i am selling a 1974 mostly all original mg midget. this car has been garaged since new. the only thing i can say that is changed is the stereo, but the stock one comes with it. in one of the pics you will see tons of parts. most are new in the box, and some were changed out. yes the big black bumper guards are in there. i thought it looked better with them off. but you can put them back on. the car runs and drives beautifully. things that were just done to it are, new tires, new carpet kit, battery, starter solenoid, carburetors rebuilt (also have another set that will go with car) throttle shafts, needle jets, pointless fuel pump, yes the expensive good one, fuel cap, center exhaust pipe, front brake pads, rear brake shoes, rear wheel cylinders, clutch master cylinder, clutch slave cylinder, brake master cylinder, brake slave cylinder, full tune up,(spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, rotor, points, condenser, air filters, fuel filter). headlights, turn signal switch, rear MG emblem, rear axle seals, rear differential fluid replaced, shifter boot, rear springs and bushings,valve cover gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, engine completely tuned by Sports Car Craftsman in Arvada. whom specialize in MG's so needless to say the car is turn key ready to go. the body is straight, better then most i've seen. under the pan is solid. all rust coated, so no rust under there. the paint is about 20 years old so there are some rock chips in the front, some door dings, and some chipping and cracking. the top was perfect till i took these pics, but it was so cold out that when i put the top back up the two side little windows cracked. yes it made me made, and im sorry. but you really can't see them and i figure the top will always be down with the boot on where ever the car goes anyway.the car has 68k on it. now those are actual, but since the motor was just redone pretty much i put 5k. thats how far its been driven since all the stuff has been done. so i will say the speedo is TMU, but the car as a whole has 68k. title shows 0 actual. like new. lets see if i'm forgetting any thing,........oh the drivers door has a dent/crease in it. dent busters can pull out for sure. paints not perfect but its old. the front seats are the original ones and there's not a rip or tear anywhere on them. if you are looking for a great little daily driver, or a MG to restore to brand new, i would have to say, this is it. i have been in the car biz for 18 years as a director and GM. i know my cars. this car came from my neighbor, i got it from them. i moved to Colorado to run 5 dealerships out here. well two weeks of working and i got in a bad accident that left me on life support. so now i am disabled and need money for bills. thats the reason for selling the car. otherwise i would love to keep this little runner forever. i would just put it in the paint shop, and than drive to shows and brunch on sundays. this truely is a great little car. please call me at 719-321-7792, or email me if you have any questions. i will be more than happy to take pics of anything you want and email them right to you. i can pick you up from denver airport if you want to drive it home, or i have great connections with transport. i will help in any way.
