b                           You are bidding on a hard to find 1981 Volkswagen Pickup (Rabbit). This truck has the 1.6l diesel engine that made this little truck a penny pincher's delivery dream truck. It is all original. This truck has no rust. It was made in Pennsylvania's VW plant and bought new in Birmingham Alabama. This truck only has 102,000 miles and we still have the original mag wheels that go with the truck. I have the spare set on right now and the original wheels are getting touched up. They also go with this ebay auction. This truck is in Excellent condition and can be driven anywhere, any time. This truck has the A/C, Manual 4 speed transmission, AM/FM radio.               This truck was only produced for a few years in the states and makes it that much more valuable. A suprising number of domestic Rabbit Puckes survive today. A steady stream of 1981, 1982, and 1983 Rabbit Pickups appear for sale here and there.        While a well-restored Rabbit Pickup can fetch over $10,000, daily drivers can be had for less than half that amount.
