Hi, For sale is a 1956 Dodge Coronet 2 dr. post cp. Super solid, straight boby with no exterior rust,dents or waves! Stored indoors for many years. This car is a mild modified running project. My son and i had all exterior trim removed, all holes properly mig welded, filled.The interior is removed, all glass is in, all windows & vents work.The interior/exterior colors were two tone green and we were going to have darker color themes. This description is very honest and the car is the first year of the nice big fins like the 57 chevys. The car runs,all gauges work,nice exhaust,tires,fact hubcaps in exc. condition. New water pump on the v-8 273 cu. motor, push button tranny works fine, e- brake works,front end is tight, factory sway bar with control arms ,coil springs. All original under the hood. The brakes are drums and i had a dual -power brake unit installed for the safety with proportioning valve and all new lines, as my son would be driving and safety is first. The frame is mint and the trunk floor is solid,the floor pans need some work in rear,or replaced, the front pans have some light repair to do and that is the only rust the car has after removing the oem carpets and tar insulation, we priced the pans at 66.00 each, not bad. Next ,the heavy look of the stock trim, grille, pot metal,is clear if you research the original car,a custom grille of simple design was made and can be unbolted,so the car has a street or cleaner look. The headlights are out as frenching in was our next move. I have all SStrim in exc. shape, all pot metal trim,needs replating if you wish to make it original. The body lines,gaps are great, all original panels, doors etc.hood lines also great, vent works in front of windshield, heater works nice too! Need to do complete interior,exterior is black urethane primer.Also have all bumpers and brackets,bumpers straight and need replating. Overall nice project and running driving right now, clear title.If car does not sell,no big deal, just offering.
