Up for sale is a very clean, well maintained 2000 BMW 323i with 126K miles. Silver/Black leather, sedan with 5-speed manual transmission and many upgrades with receipts performed since I purchased the vehicle in 2005. This was my first BMW, and adding upgrades to make it look/drive more to my liking has been a real love of mine while owning this car. I am not a fan of gaudy enhancements that take away from the clean look, or "factory" feel of the car, so you won't find anything on the vehicle that takes away from the everyday use and fun driving nature of the car. The vehicle has always had 'old-school' maintenance with synthetic oil changes every 3000 miles, Redline synthetic fluid in the transmission and differential, frequent brake fluid flushes, and preventative maintenance throughout my time owning the car. Through and through, this vehicle looks as though it has 26,000 miles, not 126K. I used this vehicle as my trip car, and sunny weather driver, and have put a lot of pride in keeping it up and looking and driving much newer than it's actual age. Upgrades include an Eibach pro spring kit, lowering the vehicle approx. 3/4" and Bilstein sport struts which are an absolute blast when driving and cornering. The control arms and bushings are the bolt-on upgrades used on the M3 and help make the car drive much crisper than the stock baby E46. Amber lenses throughout the car have been replaced with smoke lenses, all of which have no cracks or blemishes on them. In the back is a Scorpion tri-flo stainless steel exhaust system that gives the car a few extra horses, less body weight, and a great sound! Driving with the windows down in a parking garage is one of my favorite past-times in this car! It is throaty without being the least bit annoying. An aFe performance intake with Aluminum housing helps the engine breathe better and again adds a few horses. I like this kit because it does not bypass the mass airflow sensor and keeps the vehicle from having any check engine lights or fault codes when in operation (the car is warning light/issue free). The car is sitting on 18" Italian Moda wheels in very good condition wrapped in 4 Avon performance tires with approximately 30-35% tread remaining. My plan was to replace the tires next summer, but nothing is past the wear marks yet. Inside the car you will find a factory-spec iPod integration unit with a dock that I mounted flush directly on the dash that is very non-obtrusive and helpful as it both charges the iPod and plays through the factory head unit at CD quality (no radio stations to dial in, no separate cables to charge your iPod). I also upgraded the stock speakers with butyl rubber surround speakers for less crack and a cleaner sound than paper-like factory setup. The result is a crisp sounding system without being too heavy or "tin-sounding" when turned up. The car is premium package equipped with gives you a self-dimming mirror, factory alarm (with motion sensor), dual power leather front seats (with heat) and a power moonroof. The cold weather also adds a ski-bag pass-through, dual-mode heated seats mentioned above, and heated exterior mirrors. As far as to-do items and blemishes, there are very few on the car. The front end has a 3M clear bra covering the first 12" of the hood and sides, as well as the headlights, so they are fairly chip-free. The front bumper has the typical road marks of the time, but nothing is large or obtrusive that catches your eye. Also, there is a very small (less than 2 1/2 inches) rust bubble on the rear passenger side quarter panel that just started surfacing. No real rust-color is showing through (just the bubble). I had plans on repairing this also in the spring before I replaced the vehicle. I would be happy to send more pictures upon request to a potential buyer.
