Up for auction is my 2002 BMW 745LI with 149,000 miles. This BMW is finished in a pearl white paint with a tan leather interior. It's powered by a 4.4L V8 with an automatic transmission with tip-tronic shifting controls. The BMW 745LI is the flagship model of BMW's so you can expect many luxury options including dual zone climate controls, heated/cooled seats, plush leather interior, power sunroof, 10 way adjustable power seats, navigation with voice controls, cd stereo with cd changer, integrated cell phone, push start, rear door air vents, xenon headlights and foglights, 19" wheels and much more. New this vehicle had a window sticker off the showroom floor of over $73,000. The current NADA Blue Book value is $20,775. This BMW is not showroom new anymore and does have a few minor issues so expect to get this 745LI at an amazing wholesale price!!! I drive this BMW everyday and it gets all the looks but it does have a few minor issues. The paint and body are in nice shape with no major dents, body damage or rust. The drivers-side has definitely been repainted in the past. Not the worst paint job but not perfect. Looks like it really just needs to be wet sanded and buffed real good. The bottom of the front bumper has a crack in it and looks to have been repainted and the bottom valance on the rear bumper has some cracking and paint peel. The drivers side door handle must be broken internally or disconnected from the latch because it won't open from the outside. You can push a button on the remote and it will roll the windows down. The drivers side door must of had come body work done by the door handle because around the edge of the handle the paint is chipping. The 19" wheels have some scrapes on them and the passenger side headlight is hazed and could use buffing. The interior is clean with minimal wear. The leather looks great with one small hole about the size of a dime on the drivers side bolster. All panels, dash, trim and carpet are nice and clean. Heat blows nice and hot and AC blows cold. All power windows work great besides the rear passenger side which won't go up or down. Most likely it needs a new switch. There is a plastic tab broken on the center console that hold the lid down but my mechanic put a small screw in it so it shuts now. The power seats adjust in about 10 different ways for maximum comfort but the back part of the passenger side power seat will not go back or forth but you can adjust it in 8 other ways. The navigation screen controls most of the car. Does show a few minor faults when you first start the car up like BMW assist not available and fault in pass.-restraint system. Stereo system has a 6 disc changer and 10 speakers. Someone put all aftermarket Pioneer speakers in it but some of them are not wired. Overall the interior has your normal wear and tear you would expect on a car with 150K miles. Open the hood and you will find the huge 4.4L V8 powerplant. It starts right up with the push of a button and the motor runs nice and quiet with no strange noises. Sometimes when its cold outside (30 degrees) you will notice some puffs of white smoke coming from the exhaust when you first start it. Pretty common on all high mileage cars when it's cold outside. BMW dealership told me it's just condensation plus it's got a full aluminum exhaust system. Goes right away when you put it in drive. Car has nice pickup and power and the transmission shifts nice and firm. There is something loose in the front end that needs attention because something rattles when you hit pot holes or bumps in the road. A friend told me it could need sub frame bushings or sway bar links. The front tire will also rub a little bit when you turn the steering wheel all the way to the left. Could just be a plastic wheel well lining loose rubbing the tire. Drives nice and straight down the road and doesn't pull in any direction. Most of the issues I have explained have never bothered me that much so I never had them fixed. With a little bit of TLC you can make this BMW super nice!!! You can buy this BMW and fly in and drive it home anywhere in the USA. This will be a NO RESERVE auction that will sell to the highest bidder.
