1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme This rust free car has a very straight body and nice interior with 110,000 miles. There is a tear on the driver's side carpet. The orginal paint is faded, and the vinyl top is beginning to crack. We just put brand new tires, belts and a water pump on the car. The car runs and drives smooth, however the engine makes a knocking sound while in park at an idle. Also the windshield rattles. The alternator may be getting weak as the charge light is dimmly lit. A couple other things that could use some attention is the power antenna (it no longer goes up and down), the tape player no longer works, power door locks will unlock but will not lock and there is a missing piece of trim on the driver's side front fender. The AC seems to work fine but someone put a manual "on" switch on one of the wires. Not really sure what that is all about but noneless the AC does work. All other electronics appear to be functioning properly. With such a great body and interior this Cutlass would make a great car to put back to it's original condition. I am currently using this car to get back and forth between home and work. But any purchaser should be advised that I believe this car will need some motor work in the near future.
