Up for sale is my 1978 Chevy Malibu. This is a pretty quick car 11.53@119mph is the cars best run, but will run quicker in cooler air. As you can see the cars exterior is in good shape, there is one dime sized ding on the right fender. Interior needs finished carpet door panels and such dash is in fair shape given the year. Paint is 3 years still looks good. All of the work to this car excluding rearend I did myself. The car has not been raced since freshend up (new bearings) didn't need to replace but I did. Now to the particulars. 408 ci small block chevy with 4 bolt main splayed Milodon caps. Scat 9000 series crankshaft. CAT 6" connecting rods with 7/16 ARP's. JE forged ultra light flattop pistons. Speed Pro Rings. Comp Cams 525/525 mechanical camshaft. Comp Cams lifters Harland Sharp 1.6 rockers which put the gross lift around 565". Brodix RR200 cylinder heads. I have had them deschrouded and port matched. Hooker Super Comp 2 piece headers 13/4" with 3" collectors. Jegs Aluminum radiator kit with electric fan. Weiand high flow water pump. MSD 6al with blaster 3 coil billet distributor. Holley mechanical 800cfm carb. 8.5" 10 bolt with posi and Yukon drag axles. 26-8.5-15 MT ET drags. It has a TCI competition series turbo 350 with a TCI Street Fighter converter, SFI 18 B&M flexplate and a drive loop that will pass tech. As you can see by the picture the car hooks up good. 2 sets of Competition Engineering 5 point restraints with quick release. Way to many other things to list for the little details. I have over $15000 invested in this car don't want to get rid of it but times are tough. This would make a great street car with some exhaust and a few other items. Headlights turn signals all work.
