Vehicle Detail
YOUR LOOKING AT A 1977 FORD F150 CUSTOM 4X4. IT HAS A 4 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION (VERY TIGHT, SHIFTS FEEL LIKE BRAND NEW) 351M ENGINE RUNS GREAT AND VERY STRONG. HAS AN EDELBROCK PERFORMER INTAKE MANIFOLD AND A BRAND NEW HOLLEY 670 CFM TRUCK AVENGER CARBURATOR INSTALLED. A NEW H.E.I. BILLET PERFORMANCE DISTRIBUTER ALSO INSTALLED. HEDMAN FENDERWELL EXIT HEADERS THAT RUN INTO A TRUE DUAL EXHAUST WITH GLASSPACK MUFFLERS. HAS A PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED 4" LIFT KIT AND ALL UPGRADED SUSPENSION. OVER $2,000 IN SUSPENSION ALONE. HAS EAGLE ALLOY WHEELS AND 35" TIRES. THERE IS SOME RUST ABOVE THE REAR WHEELS BUT NOT TOO BAD IT CAN BE FIXED FAIRLY EASY. NO DENTS TO SPEAK OF ITS REALLY A VERY STRAIGHT TRUCK FOR ITS AGE. IT HAS 115,000 ORRIGINAL MILES ON IT. AND ABOUT 8,000 SINCE THE SUSPENSION WAS UPGRADED AND THE LIFT KIT INSTALLED. I STILL HAVE THE SHOP INVOICE TO ON THE SUSPENSION WORK. IT HAS 3.50:1 GEAR RATIO. THE REAR END IS A FORD 9" TRACTION LOCK LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL. I WAS GOING TO BUILD A 408 CUBIC INCH 425HP 460LB/TORQUE MOTOR AND I COLLECTED MOST OF THE PARTS TO DO IT BUT NEVER GOT AROUND TO IT. THESE PARTS INCLUDE: NEW BADGER.030 OVER 9.6:1 PISTONS, TOTAL SEAL GAPLESS PISTON RINGS, ROD & MAIN BEARINGS, CAM BEARINGS, FREEZE PLUGS, NEW 400 CRANKSHAFT, BILLET ROLLER TIMING SET, EDELBROCK PERFORMER CAM WITH MATCHING LIFTERS AND SPRINGS, PUSHROD GUIDE PLATES, HARDENED CHROME MOLY PUSHRODS, MELLING HI-VOLUME OIL PUMP W/ HARDENED PUMP SHAFT, FULL GASKET SET, ARP ROCKER STUDS, STAINLESS STEEL VALVES, ROLLER ROCKERS, HIGH PERFORMANCE ALUMINUM WATER PUMP, POLISHED CAST ALUMINUM VALVE COVERS, CHROME 100 AMP ALTERNATOR, AND MUCH MORE STUFF THAT GOES WITH THIS TRUCK. ALL MOTOR PARTS ARE NEW IN THE BOX AND IS ALL HIGH QUALITY PARTS. TAKE THE 351 OUT AND PUT THE 400 CRANKSHAFT AND .030 OVER 400 PISTONS IN THE SAME BLOCK AND ITS NOW A 408" ENGINE. I WOULD PREFER TO SELL THE TRUCK AND PARTS TOGETHER SO I'LL TRY THAT FIRST. JUST ABOUT $2,800 IN NEW PARTS THAT GO WITH IT. SOME OF THE PARTS ARE SHOWN IN ONE OF THE PHOTOS. ITS A VERY GOOD AND DEPENDABLE TRUCK IT JUST NEEDS A GOOD HOME AS I DONT HAVE ROOM FOR IT ANYMORE SO MY LOSS IS YOUR GAIN. THESE CLASSIC FORD TRUCKS ARE GETTING HARDER TO FIND IN THIS GOOD OF CONDITION. EVERYTHING WORKS GREAT ON THIS TRUCK. IT COULD USE A NEW PAINT JOB AND THE TIRES ARE GETTING WEATHERED. IT WILL NEED A NEW CARPET AND IT DOES NOT HAVE A RADIO. THE WINDSHIELD IS CRACKED AND SHOULD ALSO BE REPLACED. I CAN HELP WITH DELIVERY FOR A FEE. VEHICLE IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY AND I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME. PAYMENT DUE IN FULL WITHIN 14 DAYS. I WILL BE HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. THANKS FOR LOOKING. NO RESERVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On Jan-09-11 at 17:15:54 PST, seller added the following information: I have been overwhelmed with emails from people wanting more photos and info. I will post photos of the interior, under hood and rear of the vehicle sometime monday. the interior is in very good condition. as stated in the description it needs a carpet. I removed the carpet and was going to replace it but I never did. I was asked about the door jam and hinge area. I will also post photos of those areas. there is no rust what so ever in the cab including the floor, doors, door jambs and door hinge area. I have had several offers to end the auction early. although most were very generous, I would prefer if you would just bid what you feel its worth to you. that way its fair to eveyone that have already placed bids. and we would have ebay to keep both buyer and seller protected. sound fair? there is no rust what so ever anywhere under the hood. including the hood hinge area. ( will add photos of those as well) all lights, headlights, dash lights, turn signals, brake lights, and interior dome light all work. all gauges work. the truck has a bedliner. there is some rust just behing the cab in the floor of the box. that very common with these pickups. I dont think the box is orriginal. it has 2 fuel doors for dual gas tanks but there is no front tank. the truck was repainted prior to me buying it. it was not the best paint job and is peeling and faded mainly due to it sitting outside the last three years. the door seals were not on the truck when I bought it 12 years ago.and are easy to replace. I was asked what an HEI Distributor is. HEI means "High Energy Ignition" it has an internal coil built into the top of the distributer cap. just like you would find on most older chevy's with HEI. so it does not need an external (seperate) coil. it also eliminates the need for the ignition amplifier box that are prone to failure. Its overall mechanical condition is very good it has never failed me and has never failed to start even in the coldest weather. basically it just needs a little cosmetic work and some cleaning. I have been asked about delivery. if its wanted I can drive it onto my trailer and take it to meet the winning bidder within a reasonable distance from my home. maybe up to 200 miles or so. I will figure what it will cost me and if the winning bidder agrees then it will have to payed in advance. it has been sitting for awile. I last had it licensed in 2007. it is not in brand new condition and not a show quality vehicle, if you want a new truck then go buy a new truck. this should answer all the questions. keep watching for the added photos which I will get posted monday. Thanks. On Jan-10-11 at 16:57:14 PST, seller added the following information: more photos have been added to the listing. the truck is a little dirty and I just have not had the time to do any cleaning. photo of the speedometer shows actual mileage is 117,310. the belt driven cooling fan has been replaced with a big electric cooling fan and is shown in one of the photos.
