Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1965 Triumph 200 Mountain Cub. Garage kept all "original" untouched and purchased from original owner. Owner was a close friend of my dads and rode the bike in enduros and trials events years ago. He passed away a few years ago and his wife called and asked if I would like to have his bike. It has 1045 original miles on it and runs very well. The title is still in the estate and I am awaiting it. I cant promise a title will be supplied from the estate. I will also try to get a duplicate title thru NJMV. It was last reg in 71. There are no dents or cracks in the exhaust, fenders or tank, paint is original and in good condition. Unit had a coating from Triumph in the gas tank that the new fuels eat. The tank is in very good and rust free condition. But some of the coating is still disolving inside tank, ( it was cleaned by shop, but still has some coating hidden ) making the exhaust "smell" and have a grey smoke come from tail pipe. It will eventually disolve the rest of the way or you can flush the tank some more. As seen in one of the photos, the only visible problem is a pc of the fr fender brkt that was broken off. I did not get the missing pc with the bike. The bike dose have 1 item that would need to be addressed, the 3rd gear in trans sticks. There is no damage to the trans gears or shafts. It should have the trans pulled and washed down to remove varnished trans fluid from shaft. It was serviced and checked by a professional Triumph repair shop. ( name and # can be supplied ) He said it might free itself up with some ridng time. It is a cassette trans, whitch means the cases do not need to be split to remove trans. The price "does" reflect "not" having the title supplied. If and when a title can be aquired, it would be supplied to the winner of auction at no charge to them. NOTE: Bike is also listed localy and I have the option to end auction early if sold off ebay... If there is a problem with this issue, Please do not bid, sorry.... Any questions please feel free to email me. Thanks, Billy. Happy bidding.
